It is advocated differently in traditional yoga text. This is a modified version.

1. Sit in any meditative posture.

2. Quickly breathe in and out like a rabbit. As far as possible restrict air to travel in the lower respiratory tract. This is forcing rapid and shallow breathing. Take a few deep breaths in between and repeat again.

3. One may feel breathless, heaviness in the head during initial stages of practice.
